Karnataka duo held for gold theft at Goa | Goa Information – Instances of India

PONDA: Ponda police have arrested two Karnataka natives in reference to a theft case, whereby gold price Rs 1 lakh was stolen.
Police have recovered the stolen items from the possession of the accused.
Ponda PI Vijaykumar Chodankar stated that Yallaling Togari, 31, from Aremul, Muddebhil-Bijapur in Karnataka and Chandru Unki, 45, from Hubballi, Karnataka have been arrested.
Each the accused had been staying in two separate rented rooms at Curti-Ponda, police stated.
In her criticism, Suvarna Kaisare, a resident of Haveli-Curti, Ponda acknowledged that unknown culprits entered their home by opening the primary door between 2pm and 6pm and decamped with ornaments.
