Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who has formed a full government, has set targets for all his cabinet colleagues, saying they should strive to win at least 20 of the total 28 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. The Chief Minister on Saturday filled all the 34 seats in his cabinet by inducting 24 new ministers.

Noting that Lok Sabha elections are due in a year, Siddaramaiah said, “We should win at least 20 Lok Sabha constituencies as a gift to the party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.” Should do.”

Asking the ministers to “listen and respond to the problems of the people”, he reminded them that “the people of the state have given us an unprecedented majority and also a huge responsibility. People should not come to Vidhan Soudha (the seat of the state legislature and secretariat) to get their work done.” Instructing the ministers, he said, “With our pro-people work, we have to register an unprecedented victory in the Lok Sabha elections again.”

He said that the situation is absolutely right to end the misrule of the Center through Karnataka. Siddaramaiah said, “We should not forget this. That’s why ministers should make extensive visits to their districts. Problems should be resolved at the district and taluk level.”

The chief minister has given targets to all the ministers and wished them all the best, the statement said. At the same time, he also asked the officers to keep a strict vigil and fight against corruption.
