Karnataka CEO Had Hidden Son’s Body With Toys And Clothes

Suchana Seth, the Bengaluru woman who was arrested for the alleged murder of her four-year-old son at a service apartment in Goa, reportedly attempted to conceal his body initially during a police inspection of her bag. The bag, which appeared to contain toys and clothes on the surface, raised suspicion. Subsequently, the authorities requested Suchana to reveal the entire contents of the bag.

During the police inspection, as one of the officers removed the layer of clothes from the bag, the lifeless body of the boy was discovered. When questioned about the contents of the bag, Suchana Seth admitted that it indeed contained the body of her son.

The authorities mentioned that after the initial admission regarding her son’s body, Suchana Seth did not provide any further statements. Suchana, who serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a start-up company in Bengaluru, was arrested on Tuesday on charges of murdering her son.

On Thursday, she underwent a routine medical examination under the supervision of the Goa Police before being returned to Goa’s Calangute police station. The police revealed that Suchana was apprehended in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district while attempting to escape in a cab with her son’s body concealed in a bag.

The incident came to light when staff at the service apartment, where Suchana and her son had been staying, discovered blood stains on a towel in her room after she had departed. The staff also noted that they did not see her son with her during the checkout.

Upon inquiry, Suchana initially informed the police that her son was at a friend’s place in Goa, a statement later proven to be false. A case was registered, leading to the woman being remanded to six days of police custody. A postmortem examination of the minor was conducted, and he was laid to rest in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

According to sources, Suchana Seth is reportedly not cooperating with the police investigators in the probe into her son’s murder. The Goa police had intended to take her to the service apartment where she stayed to reconstruct the crime scene.

However, the recreation of the crime scene has faced delays as Seth has not agreed to go to the hotel so far. The recreation of the crime scene is considered a necessary part of the investigation, as it helps authorities understand the sequence of events and gather additional evidence.

An official stated, “This is part of the investigation. She is currently in police custody, and we are interrogating her in connection with the case.” The lack of cooperation from the accused may complicate the investigation process.
