Chitradurga: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered isamudra village, which comes under the jurisdiction of Bharamasagara Police Station Inn Chitradurga District. The incident happened when a class VIII student had gone to a maize field to answer the call of nature.
The police suspect that the misbehaviors came to the field chasing her. The girl was left alone at home as her parents had taken her younger sister to Bharmasagar PHC. Her parents were concerned about not finding their teenage daughter at home, and after questioning the neighbors, they learned that she had left for the farm. Searching the field they found her lame body – the girl had bruises on her cheek and neck. A case has been registered under POCSO Act FIR filed.
