Bollywood Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan A few days back, Kareena Kapoor Khan launched her first book titled Pregnancy Bible. The book chronicles her pregnancy journey with her two sons Taimur and Jeh and is intended to serve as an ultimate guide for expectant mothers. Kareena has shared many anecdotes in her book and detailed what she went through during her two pregnancies. She talked about how people glamorize celebrity pregnancies but there is nothing glamorous in it, as she faced the same struggles as any other woman. She also spoke about the conversation she had with Saif Ali Khan when they discussed having children.
According to NDTV, an excerpt from the book reads, “The truth is I love being a mom. And I love acting. And I didn’t want to give up on anything even during my pregnancy. In fact after my marriage, I I thought a lot about my decision to have a family. I thought people would look at me differently. But Saif told me I could do it all. He and I worked hard to build a strong foundation for our relationship. And I truly believe that my kids will always stand by it. And, hopefully, Jeh will be as confident as Taimur because of his parents.”
He said that his mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore had also asked him to keep working. “Her advice was to do whatever I want, but with confidence. She did some great work in films after her marriage and kids and she was a real inspiration. My mother is a strong role model for me too, and He and my father both told me I should keep at it. So I thought what the fuck! I nodded in not one but two pregnancies and now I have these two tricks in my life that make every day a little crazy, a little special Makes you feel a little tiring and a little rewarding.”
“And so here I am—writing these words, working, being a mom, being active, being real. You know, my life often feels like tree pose—where you’re balancing on one leg. I think women do it beautifully,” concluded Karina.
