Saif Ali Khan said that he missed Kareena at the ISPL finale as she’s busy shooting in Mahabaleshwar.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s team, Tiigers of Kolkata, have won the 2024 edition of the Indian Street Premiere League (ISPL). While Kareena is busy shooting for her upcoming projects, Saif attended the final match with their older son Taimur. The father and son duo twinned in matching team jerseys. Kareena shared their adorable moments on her social media handle and penned a note for the team.
Kareena wrote on Instagram, “Our team @tiigersofkolkata have roared their way to victory… What an outstanding performance. Seizing the first-ever Indian Street Premiere League championship @ispl_t10 Hats off to our entire team❤️.” She also shared photos of Saif and Taimur posing for the camera. Saif could be seen making a peace sign.

During a media interaction after the match, Saif said that he thoroughly enjoyed watching the league and missed Kareena as she is currently occupied with her shoot. Saif said, “It feels amazing, the atmosphere was electric. When the celebrity match was being played, stadium kaafi khaali tha. But I think people are more fans of proper and good cricket rather than just celebrities, which I’m happy to see because these guys played really good cricket.”
Speaking about missing Kareena, Saif said, “Yes, I wish she could have been here but she’s shooting up in Mahabaleshwar. So, you know, half of us are here (points at Taimur).”
“I think India is the greatest cricketing nation in the world and my father also always said that when we organise at the grassroots level, the future will be amazing. I think the future is very bright. I was really happy to see such good cricket being played today,” he added.
