Karan Johar was on the radar of Lawrence Bishnoi gang, says Moose Wala murder case

Saurabh Mahakal, an accused in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, has claimed that filmmaker Karan Johar was on the radar of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. The police are yet to confirm this claim. An official said, “Mahakal has claimed that the plan was to extort Rs 5 crore from Karan Johar, but it is possible that Mahakal is just misleading the police.”

Earlier, Mahakal had said that Lawrence Bishnoi gang was behind threatening Salman Khan. The accused had claimed that these three men were from Rajasthan and worked in a factory in Palghar, and had come to Mumbai to deliver letters. When the police visited the factory in Palghar, they realized that they were not employed there.

The police further found that three people who claimed Mahakal behind the threat letter were arrested for robbing a jewelery shop in Rajasthan’s Sirohi before the date of the incident (June 5). They are still behind bars.
