Karan Johar becomes host of Salman Khan’s show ‘Bigg Boss’ on OTT

The filmmaker will reportedly host the reality drama show on the OTT platform for six weeks, which will premiere on August 8 on Voot. Also, after completing the digital exclusive, the show will go on Colors TV. This will reportedly mark the launch of ‘Bigg Boss 15’.

Revealing that his mother Hiroo Johar’s dream come true, the “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani” director says he hopes to live up to the expectations and make the popular show entertaining in his own way. He further added, “‘Bigg Boss OTT’ will undoubtedly have a lot more sensational and dramatic (content). I hope I can live up to the expectations of the audience and my friends, in my own style with the contestants on Weekend Ka Vaar and more. Entertainingly entertaining. Wait for that!”

Meanwhile, KJo will also be seen in the director’s chair after a long break of 5 years with ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The filmmaker will direct the ‘Gully Boy’ duo Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in this upcoming film. The film also has a stellar cast which includes veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. He will be seen playing an important role in the film.
