Brown last week revealed that he had inked a deal with West to serve as president for his Donda Sports organization. Brown, who formerly played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots, took to Instagram to show that he’d spent almost $2.2 million on a suite and six VIP passes ahead for Sunday’s game.

He said in the caption, ‘WE THE OWNERS NOW! Donda is about ownership, empowerment, and discovering the next superheroes. This is for the people who counted us out, for everyone who said we can’t — we say WE WILL. As President, it was important to me to book the Donda Suite for this years SUPERBOWL LVI.

Brown in January spoke with Complex about his involvement in the organization, telling the outlet he and West were ‘excited about the Donda sports brand, and making this thing a competitive brand to the athletes.’

Brown added: ‘I don’t think there’s a lot of fashion lines for athletes, wearing fashionable and comfortable clothes, so with a guy like Kanye West, being able to partner with him and work with him to provide more creative, genius ideas for fashion looks for athletes in general… I’m just grateful for the opportunity here soon, to share what we’ve got with the world.’

Super Bowl LVI – in which the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 – featured a halftime show including Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg.
