Kantara Hindi OTT Release Date: Rishabh Shetty’s blockbuster movie Kantara is one of the most successful hit movies of Kannada industry. On 24 November, the film got its own streaming platform to entertain all the fans but the film released on Amazon Prime Video in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Since then fans are eagerly waiting for its Hindi dubbed version. Well, the wait is finally over as we all can now watch the magnum opus film in Hindi on Netflix.
The official Twitter handle of Netflix announced the news and also revealed the release date which is December 9th. Rishabh Shetty has the answer to the question “When is Kantara coming in Hindi?” Since the film’s theatrical release on September 30, it has churned out over 400 crores worldwide.
Earlier in an interview with DNA, when asked if the film would lose its essence if it is dubbed in different languages, the actor-director said, “The feelings are the same. The culture and traditions that I have shown in the film, like Bhoot Kola from Coastal Karnataka, but I have represented it through the universal theme of man vs nature struggle. I feel this struggle is present in every corner of India. And the way people spend the last 15-20 minutes, Talking about the climax of the film, which will remain the original, and now, if Hindi speaking people watch in their own language, they will understand it even better. The concept on which I have made the film, the conflict between man and nature is a is a universal subject. ,
Kantara Storyline
The story of Kantara is set around a small community living in the forests of Kadubettu in the southern coastal state of Karnataka. Weaving an intriguing plot of man vs nature conflict, where death leads to a war between the villagers and the evil forces and Shiva, a rebel protects his village and nature.
