Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar’s fan dies of heart attack after news of actor’s demise

A die-hard fan of Puneeth Rajkumar from Marur village in Karnataka’s Chamarajanagar district died on Friday (October 29) night following the demise of the Kannada star. The man, identified as Parashurama Devammanvar, died of a heart attack at 11 pm on the same day after Puneeth died of cardiac arrest. The actor experienced chest pain for which he was admitted to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru, where he later died.

Puneeth’s mortal remains have been shifted to Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru for public viewing, where a large number of fans can be seen waiting for the last glimpse of their favorite star ahead of his funeral, which will soon take place. It will be done with state honours. After his daughter came from America. Heavy police force has been deployed at the stadium to control the crowd.

Puneet’s death has taken the entire nation in shock and many popular actors from Bollywood and South film industry including Dhanush, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Abhishek Bacchan, Anil KapoorIncluding others have expressed condolences.

Son of matinee idol Rajkumar, who was also fondly called ‘Appu’ and ‘Power Star’ by his fans, Puneet was associated with the silver screen since childhood.

The 46-year-old actor has been a lead star in 29 films since his acting debut in 2002 in “Appu”, his last release was “Yuvratna”, which came out in April earlier this year.
