Kangana Ranaut keeps sharing updates about her film Emergency and recently she revealed that it will be a musical drama which will have five songs.
bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut Currently she is working on her film Emergency which she is directing and acting in. The actress will play former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the story will revolve around the 21-month Emergency declared by Gandhi in 1975 across India. Kangana keeps sharing updates about her film and recently she revealed that it will be a musical drama with five songs.
Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared a picture from the sets and wrote, “Choreographer on set today… director can take it easy ha ha… well we have 5 songs in #Emergency it’s a musical drama. I don’t know why people don’t expect songs in emergency… I love music, the longest song I can have is above 10 minutes… for the interval block… and great music @gvprakash.

Meanwhile, Anupam Kher will play the role of political leader JP Narayan while Milind Soman will be seen as war hero Sam Manekshaw. As far as Shreyas Talpade is concerned, he will be seen as former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Apart from them, Mahima Chaudhary and Satish Kaushik will also be seen in important roles. The shooting of the film started last year.
The political drama is produced under Kangana’s home production, Manikarnika Films, while it is written by Ritesh Shah, who has worked with Kangana. Bollywood Actress in Dhakad. Emergency is set to hit the theaters in 2023.
Apart from Emergency, the actress also has Tejas in the pipeline. She will be seen playing the role of an Airforce pilot in the film. She will also turn producer for Tiku Weds Sheru, which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead.
