Candere by Kalyan Jewelers has announced its annual design competition for aspiring designers. Titled ‘EnVisage’, the competition invites individuals to submit their designs based on the theme and guidelines. The best designer will get a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a chance to launch their winning designs in a collection apart from a three-month paid internship with the brand.
The registration is already open and interested people can apply till 16th June, however, the submission date is from 17th June to 5th July. Interested candidates can apply through candere.com. Applicants should also note that the peacock, our national bird, is the theme of the contest.
The three categories that are open for designing are necklaces, bracelets or kadas and earrings. The design should be in line with the theme, address the problem details and be commercially viable while maintaining the demanded gold-to-diamond ratio, the release said.
An all-day event will be held in Mumbai on 6th August where the shortlisted designs will be displayed, and the participants will present their designs to the jury panel post, which will announce the two winners.
