Kalyan-Dombivli: MNS to contest KDMC elections solo in all 133 wards, says MLA Raju Patil. Thane News – Times of India

KALYAN: Ahead of the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation ,KDMC) elections, the political atmosphere is already heating up in the twin cities, and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena is also preparing to go solo.
Addressing party workers in Dombivli, MNS MLA Raju Patil said that the party will contest the upcoming KDMC elections solo in all 133 wards.
Patil also said that rumors are being spread by some parties that MNS workers and leaders are leaving the party ahead of the KDMC elections, and asked them to start the election work saying civic body elections can be declared anytime.
He also assured party workers that no one will leave the party.
Patil added that Shiv Sena is scared of MNS, due to which they are trying to break MNS corporators by luring them with money.
In 2009, MNS had won 27 seats while in 2015 during the Modi wave our party’s 10 corporators had won in the KDMC poll, said Patil.
During the party meet, over 300 people joined MNS, including some workers from other parties.
The party’s workers rally was attended by MNS office bearers Manoj Gharat, Prakash Bhoir, Irfan Sheikh, Harshad Patil, Rahul Kamat, and Manda Patil.
