The celebs of tinsel town are back with a bang in 2023. While Ananya Panday celebrated it in Thailand with stars like Navya Naveli Nanda and Shweta Bachchan, Alia Bhatt celebrated her new year with Ranbir Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and others. Similarly, Kajol ended the year with her sister Tanishaa Mukherjee, with whom she also celebrated Christmas 2022.
On Sunday, Tanishaa shared a few pictures on her Instagram handle, in which herself and the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai siblings are seen warmly hugging each other as they pose hilariously for the shutterbugs. He was smiling from ear to ear. For the celebratory night, Tanisha wore a beautiful and silky blue dress with a set of earrings. Kajol, on the other hand, rocked a bright beige top and completed her look with light brown pants and funky sneakers. He is also wearing white glasses on his head. The Neil n Nikki actress wrote in the caption, “2023 baby! You will always be Tom to my Jerry! Love you, Kajol.”
Kajol and fashion designer Manish Malhotra reacted to the pictures with red heart emojis. On the other hand, a fan wished the sisters with her comment, “Happy New Year to both of you lovely ladies. One is positive and uplifting. Another wrote, “Hey, this is such a great picture of the two of you. I wish you a wonderful and healthy new year. Enjoy in whatever you do.” Someone even said, “Gorgeous sisters!! Happy New Year!”
On the professional front, Kajol was recently seen in Salaam Venky, an emotional rollercoaster ride between a doting mother and a son suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The film explored his journey as he navigates through the oddities of life. Apart from Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, it also featured Aamir Khan, Aahana Kumra, Rahul Bose, Prakash Raj, Rajeev Khandelwal among others. Meanwhile, Tanishaa Mukherjee has been a part of several reality shows like Bigg Boss 7, Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and her last film Code Name Abdul, which released in 2021.
