Kai Po Che! 10 becomes: Rajkummar RaoThe Amit Sadh and late Sushant Singh Rajput starrer film completed 10 years of its release on Wednesday, February 22. Directed by filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor, the film was an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s popular novel The 3 Mistakes of My Life. Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor went down memory lane and shared never-before-seen pictures from the sets as the film celebrated its tenth anniversary.
Abhishkar shared a few pictures from the sets of the film on his Instagram handle and they take us back in time. He wrote, “When a film hits a decade and still finds a place in people’s hearts it is called a classic. I had the privilege of working with 3 extraordinary actors @sushantsinghrajput @rajkummar_rao and @theamitsad. The boys were dynamite together.” Throw in a thespian like @manavkaul and you have a recipe for a blast that will reverberate for a lifetime.. @amupuri Thank you for stepping in and giving it the right dash of spice that pulled off the flavor in the most delectable way. I learned a lot for this film and I have my team, my crew to thank for that..you are only as good as the people you work with and Kai Poche got the best team support ever Is.”
Sushant Singh Rajput’s co-star Amit Sadh also remembered him. During an interview with Hindustan Times, the actor was asked if such a day reminds the team of the harsh reality of Sushant’s absence. He said, “Yes, it is a bitter truth and no one has forgotten him. I celebrate him through films and keep his memory alive inside me.”
The actor also talked about working with Sushant and Rajkummar Rao, saying, “We were all raw, fresh and with a fire inside us to perform. We had Gattu, a brilliant director, who could feed our energy.” taking them forward and putting them to best use.” What inspires me is the lesson of the tremendous collaborative spirit of different people who come together to create a heartwarming story.”
