JY Lee: Samsung Electronics vice chairman JY Lee released from jail on parole – Times of India

Uiwang/South Korea: Samsung Electronics vice president jai u TookConvicted of bribery and embezzlement, was released on parole on Friday.
Lee appeared outside Seoul Detention Center, wearing a dark brown suit and looking thinner than when he was last detained in January.
“I have caused a lot of concern to people. I deeply apologize,” Lee told reporters. “I am listening to concerns, criticisms, concerns and high expectations for myself. I will work harder.”
In a symbolic move, samsung Electronics announced Thursday that it has signed its first agreements with four company labor unions that cover office provisions and assure that union activities will be allowed. Will go
Lee vowed to reform labor rights at the tech giant in May 2020. Some Samsung employees have been found guilty of sabotaging labor union activities.
