‘Justice Gangopadhyay is like God’, Babita got tears in her eyes after getting a job in school

‘Grateful to the judge. He is like a god to me. Babita Sarkar made such remarks after the order of the Calcutta High Court on Friday. Those who had filed a case through the School Service Commission (SSC) against irregularities in the recruitment of class XI-XII.

On Friday, Justice Abhijit Ganguly directed that Babita, who is suing for the vacant post, be given a job. The High Court judge also directed him to submit his appointment letter by June 30. After that instruction, tears welled up in Babita’s eyes. Which has been struggling continuously for the last few years.

After winning that stubborn fight at the end, Babita said, ‘This is definitely good news for me. I am grateful to the judge. He is like a god to me. I don’t know what to do with the money. I will try to use it for social welfare. State Education Minister Paresh Adhikari’s daughter Ankita has been sacked due to a case filed by Babita. who was teaching illegally.

The High Court had last month ordered the dismissal of Ankita on charges of illegal recruitment. Who used to ‘teaching’ at Indira High School located in Mekhaliganj, Koch Behar. On Friday, Justice Abhijit Ganguly of the High Court asked, “Has Babita been appointed?” Why has she not been given a job yet?

Responding to a question by the judge, the counsel for the commission said that the illegally recruited candidates have been dismissed following the directions of the High Court. The recruitment will start as soon as this process is completed. The counsel for the commission said that Babita would also be given a job then.

In the light of that reply, Justice Gangopadhyay said that Ankita, the daughter of the ‘shameful’ minister, was given the job. Babita’s name came at number 21 due to illegal inclusion of her name in the list. That is why Justice Gangopadhyay directed to appoint Babita to the vacant post of painting. The High Court has directed Babita to submit her job recommendation by Monday (June 26). The High Court has directed the Board of Secondary Education to send the recommendation letter by Tuesday. Then Babita has to give the appointment letter by June 30.
