Yadav was tracked on the basis of CCTV footage and caught near a liquor shop in Mankhurd.

“Based on what can be seen in the surveillance footage, we made notes on the appearance of the perpetrator, his gait and hairstyle. Based on these clues, we inquired into the nearby shops and checked every road leading to the crime scene. The accused was seen roaming on footpaths in the eastern suburbs and Mahim and Bandra-Kurla complexes,” Crime Branch Inspector Ghanshyam Nair had said. times of India,
Yadav was caught near a liquor shop in Mankhurd on Saturday, which was tracked through CCTV footage. He was handed over to the officials of Pantnagar police station, where a case of murder has been registered against him.
