The film, which released in theaters on June 24, is getting the love of both fans and critics. The Raj Mehta directorial is not only doing well across the country but also across the globe. It opened to positive reviews from fans and critics, who liked the story, narration and performance.

In its first weekend, it collected a total of Rs 36.93 crore, which is a great figure that a film earned after the pandemic. In the second week also, the film remained stable and did not face much depreciation in terms of numbers. It has crossed the gross collection of 100 crores worldwide.
According to Box Office India, “The business of the second week will be good at around 20 crore nett unless Thor – Love & Thunder becomes a massive hit on Thursday, the film remains the best in Delhi NCR as the second week approaches in Delhi/UP. Better than Mumbai circuit despite not doing so well in UP.
“The film has underperformed in the Mumbai circuit and probably because of this circuit the film is unlikely to be a hit. The film should have netted 10-12 crores in Mumbai as compared to Delhi/UP and the film is likely to come here.” With the same number at the end of its run or maybe even less.

Backed by Dharma Productions in association with Viacom 18 Studios, the film is a progressive take on modern-day relationships and follows a family on the verge of divorce. Jugjug Geo follows Kuku (Dhavan) and Naina (Kiara Advani) on the verge of divorce, who pretend to be happily married until the wedding festivities of their younger sister Ginni (Prajakta Koli) are over. Little does Kuku know that his father Bheem, played by Anil Kapoor, is cheating on his mother Geeta, essayed by Neetu Kapoor, and plans to divorce her.
JJJ marks the return of Neetu Kapoor. It also stars Maniesh Paul and Tisca Chopra. Varun Sood has a cameo role in the film. The film is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Hiroo Yash Johar. Karan Joharand Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions.
