JP Nadda Slams Ashok Gehlot Govt, Says UPA Stands For ‘Utpidan, Pakshpat, Atyachar’

Jaipur: BJP president JP Nadda on Sunday alleged that the Congress’s UPA stands for oppression, favoritism and atrocity – oppression, favoritism and atrocity – and the party has no right to be in power in Rajasthan even for a minute. Addressing a rally after launching the BJP’s “Nahi Sahega Rajasthan” campaign against the Congress government, he alleged that the Ashok Gehlot government was setting new records of corruption.

Targeting the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA), he said, “Congress’s UPA stands for oppression, favoritism and tyranny.”

“Whereas the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working with the mantra of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas and sabka prayas’,” he said.

To oust the Congress from power, Nadda launched the party’s election campaign – ‘Nahi Sahega Rajasthan’. Assembly elections are to be held in the state by the end of the year.

This campaign will be run in the entire state.

Nadda launched the campaign and a theme video that highlights crimes against women, the murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur, communal riots and other issues.

He also released the “fail card” of the Congress-led state government.

Attacking the state government, he said that it loots and oppresses the people and has broken all records of atrocities on Dalits, Adivasis, women, children and the poor.

“She has no right to be in power even for a minute,” he said.

He said that promoting corruption and creating new records of corruption is the character of the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan.

He alleged that the state’s Congress government has done the work of demolishing the houses of refugees from Pakistan with bulldozers for vote bank politics.
