A John Wick: Chapter 4 behind-the-scenes video featured a dangerous stunt of a performer falling down an escalator, and the clip is now going viral.
All action movie fans have to brace themselves as the latest behind the scenes video from John Wick: Chapter 4 will keep them on the edge of their seats. Lionsgate just released a sneak peek of the film’s most daring stunt ever. It’s enough to make anyone’s heart skip a beat.
The clip was first shared on TikTok and then reshared on Twitter. In the clip, a daring stunt double was seen tumbling down an escalator defying gravity and danger with each passing second. The hyper-realistic stunt looks as if the performer was actually seriously injured. But don’t worry, it is not so. The caption read, “Nah cause the fall was wild.”
A picture was also shared along with the clip. It contained a simple snapshot of the scene but included what everyone on the internet was saying. “Stunt doubles deserve more credit,” read the text.
However, this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the John Wick franchise. It has become synonymous with death-defying action and incredible stunts. Directed once again by legendary stuntman-turned-director Chad Stahelski, John Wick: Chapter 4 promises to take things to a whole new level. It’s actually the stunts that really steal the show, and this latest clip is proof of the same.
Keanu Reeves plays the iconic character of John Wick, a retired assassin who has left his violent past behind after finding love and marriage. However, his world is shattered when he loses his wife in an untimely death, leaving him in a state of deep grief. Matters take a turn for the worse when ruthless gangster Iosef Tarasov (Alfie Allen) and his gang steal John’s prized car and kill the puppy that was his beloved wife’s last gift. This brutal act awakens the cold-blooded killer in John, and he sets out on a path of revenge. To make matters worse, Joseph’s father (Michael Nyquist), who is also a former colleague of John’s, puts a large bounty on John’s head, making his quest for vengeance even more dangerous.
John Wick: Chapter 4 is set to hit theaters and in IMAX on March 24. Joining the cast are actors Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne and Hiroyuki Sanada.
