Jodhpur: Senior DMM sent on leave as soon as allegations of sexual harassment are raised – Rail Hunt

Jodhpur. Sexual harassment at workplace is a serious crime. If that officer is a top officer of that section, then its seriousness increases even more. Although in most such cases at workplaces, only one party is found guilty, the other party is innocent while both are guilty, for whatever reason.

In a similar incident, a female employee has accused Ashok Choudhary, Senior DMM of North Western Railway, Jodhpur Division, of sexual exploitation. On the complaint of the woman worker, DRM Geetika Pandey has sent Senior DMM on long leave with immediate effect and even recommended her transfer from the headquarters.

According to media reports, in the meeting called after this incident, the DRM has reprimanded the concerned officer and warned others to improve the working system. However, after this development of this Jodhpur, a section of railway workers is demanding to get into the bottom of the whole matter.
