According to a statement issued by the NIA, the four accused were arrested during searches conducted in Srinagar, Pulwama and Shopian districts on Tuesday.

The NIA said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused arrested are terrorist associates or Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of various banned terrorist organizations and have been providing logistical and material assistance to terrorists in their nefarious designs.

According to the NIA statement, several electronic devices, jihadi (holy war) documents, and records of suspicious financial transactions were seized during searches conducted yesterday (Tuesday).

The NIA also revealed that the terrorist associates/over ground workers of these organizations are conspiring with their masters and commanders based in the neighboring country to radicalize the local youth for the purpose of recruitment and training in arms, ammunition operations. are also included. , and explosives.

The probe agency said these terrorists and cadres are responsible for a number of terrorist acts, including the killing of several innocent civilians and security personnel, and spreading the reign of terror in the Kashmir Valley, thereby challenging the authority of the state.

According to sources in ABP News, security agencies are now tracking six Lashkar terrorists and a Pakistani commander in connection with the killing of civilians in Srinagar last week. Sources also revealed that some suspects were caught on a CCTV camera fleeing the site of the attack in Srinagar.

“The CCTV cameras installed by the police in Srinagar city have captured some of the suspects who fled the spot, but the picture is not clear,” a police officer said.
