BTS member Jin’s throwback video before Argentina concert is everything
From a 35-hour flight journey to enjoying delicious food and playing video games, the video gives a glimpse of the wonderful time that BTS Jin enjoyed.
BTS member Kim Seokjin aka Jin has already left to complete his 18-month mandatory military service. But in the month of October, Jin collaborated with Coldplay to release his solo track, The Astronaut. The musician also joined Coldplay during his musical career. World Touring Argentina to perform The Astronaut’s first ever live performance. Now, months later, BTS’ official YouTube channel, Bangtan TV, has shared a behind-the-scenes clip from Jin’s brief time in the country. From a 35-hour flight journey to enjoying delicious food and playing video games, this behind-the-scenes look gives a glimpse into the wonderful times Jin enjoyed during his solo journey.
After boarding a connecting flight from South America, Jin finds himself addressing the ARMY, explaining how difficult traveling becomes for artists touring the world. “I’m on a plane now. Going to Argentina, connecting to the US. I’m arriving in five hours. So, total air time is about 34-35 hours. Because I wanted to do my best this first Will reveal. But it’s tough, tough. Although the traveling part got him a little nervous, he thanked Coldplay for giving him the opportunity to meet the ARMY.
He said, “Looking forward to spending the same amount of time back home. I’m spending about three days walking around. I respect everyone who tours. I have traveled on my own. It’s actually opposite sides of the globe, from Korea to South America. I’ve always wanted to go to South America. Coldplay gave me a great opportunity to meet you, I’m very happy about it. I also want to visit those countries which I have not visited with my best effort. After addressing the fans, Jin enjoyed a platter of delicious food that included salad, steak, bread, chocolate, cheese, crackers, fruit and some ice cream.
To pass the time, Jin brought out his gamer side, in which he encountered difficulties while passing a level in a video game. He used to get irritated and quiet angry every time he failed, but after about 4-5 hours of hard work, he managed to do it and looked extremely happy. The other day, he looked excited to enjoy the Coldplay concert magic with the crowd. From recording the video to happily singing along with the composer, he was seen doing it all. But the highlight moment came when Coldplay performed the song ‘My Universe’, which was produced in collaboration with Jin’s K-pop group BTS.
The next day, they were seen enjoying a Korean meal in the sunlight that hit their hotel room window. While doing so, he was seen rehearsing his solo track The Astronaut. Jin also practices singing by turning his water bottle into a mic. Watch the video here:
Jin is expected to return from his military service by June 2024, meanwhile, the K-pop group’s current hiatus is expected to end in 2025.
