During State of the Union, President Biden said that Gelsinger was prepared to increase Intel’s US investment from $20 billion to $100 billion.

“This will be one of the largest investments in manufacturing in American history,” the president said.

The First Lady is also highlighting Intel as the company is working with community colleges to train employees.

Dr. Biden has continued to teach English at Northern Virginia Community College since becoming the first woman.

She is traveling with Angela Hanks, assistant secretary of the Employment and Training Administration at the US Department of Labor.

On Tuesday, Biden will be joined by Health and Human Services Secretary Javier Becerra in Tucson, where he will learn about the Tohono O’odham Nation’s cancer program as part of the administration’s Cancer Moonshot Initiative.

President Biden first announced Cancer Moon when he was serving as vice president and after son Beau’s death from brain cancer in 2015.

Bidens recently revived the initiative, with the president highlighting it in his State of the Union speech – referring to the military’s use of burn pits in Afghanistan and Iraq, which he suggested to Biden. May be in the case of cancer.
