Taking a big action, Jharkhand Police killed Mangra Lugun, Area Commander of PLFI organization. A reward of Rs 2 lakh was announced on him. Mangra was active in areas like Jungle Sonuva and Goilkera of Podahat area under West Singhbhum district.

Jharkhand Police informed that a reward of Rs 2 lakh was declared on Area Commander Mangra Lugun and 33 cases were registered against him in the district. He had an encounter with the district police and security forces on Thursday morning, after which his body was found in Chaibasa.

According to the information, the district police and CRPF personnel were campaigning against PLFI Naxalites. Meanwhile, an encounter broke out between Lepa and Reda jungles with PLFI squads along with district police and CRPF personnel, in which Area Commander Mangra Lugun was killed.
