Ranchi: Banned CPI(Maoist) has called for a bandh on March 10 in selected areas of the district. Jharkhand And Bihar To draw people’s attention to the “fascist behavior” of governments.
The organization also asked people to take lessons from Russia’s aggression. Ukraine and described it as the result of the growing power of “capitalist, fascist rulers”. It also drew a parallel between the Ukraine crisis and the police crackdown against Maoists in the country.
The bandh was called by the outfit’s Bihar- Jharkhand-North Chhatisgarh-Uttar Pradesh Simant Regional Committee (BJNCUPSRC) in Magadh division of Bihar, north and south Chhotanagpur divisions and Palamu division of Jharkhand.
In a release, BJNCUPSRC spokesperson Manas said, “Previously, Ukraine was part of the Socialist Republic established by the great communist leaders – Com. Stalin And Lenin But with the increasing power of imperialist and capitalist rule, the republic fell apart. Today, imperialist Russia is unable to accept Ukraine’s independent status and is trying to reclaim it as its colony.”
