An FIR has been registered at Doranda police station in Ranchi under the Official Secrets Act against independent MLA Saryu Rai from Jamshedpur East seat, who accused Jharkhand Health Minister of misusing Corona funds. Several sections have been imposed on Rai. An FIR has been registered under sections 409/379/411/120B and 420 IPC on the complaint of the State Health Under Secretary.

Independent MLA Saryu Roy accused Health Minister Banna Gupta of misusing the Corona Fund and said that Banna Gupta has illegally withdrawn crores of rupees from the Corona Fund, which needs to be investigated.

Banna Gupta also retaliated
Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta on allegations of misappropriation of funds by independent MLA Saryu Roy, said that Rai accused me of illegally withdrawing crores of rupees while I have not withdrawn any money. I have decided to cancel the incentive on moral grounds and distribute it among the needy. Gupta said the incentive was approved by the health department and the estimated expenditure for the minister’s cell was Rs 14.59 lakh. As of now, no amount has been credited to any account… If Roy has proof, he should mention from which bank account and from which bank account respectively the money was transferred.
