Registration process for April session will start by today evening or tomorrow morning

:National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon start the registration process for Joint Entrance Examination Main 2023, Session 2. The registration process for April session will begin either this evening or tomorrow morning, NTA chief Vineet Joshi told The Indian Express. Once released, candidates can fill the application form at the official JEE Main website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main session 2 registration was to begin from February 7, however, it got delayed due to unspecified reasons. National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct JEE Main 2023 Session 2 on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. The reserved dates for the exam are April 13 and 15. Any student who has already appeared for session one and those who wish to appear for session two will have to login again. They have to pay the exam fee for session two.

NTA will conduct only two sessions of JEE Main this year. It is not mandatory for the candidate to appear in both the sessions. If a candidate appears in both the sessions, then their best score will be considered in preparing the merit list. NTA will send a copy of JEE Main 2023 final scorecard to the registered email address of the candidates.

NTA declared JEE Main 2023 Session 1 result for Paper 1 (BE, BTech) on 6 February. 20 candidates scored 100 percentile in BE and B.Tech papers of JEE Main 2023 January session. 8.6 lakh candidates registered for this year’s JEE Main 2023 Session 1 exam out of which 8,23,967 students appeared in the first session.

To be eligible to appear for JEE Main 2023, candidates must have passed 12th board exam. Also, students who are in the top 20 percentile in class 12 board exams of any board will be eligible to take admission in Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) like IIITs and NITs on the basis of their performance in JEE Main 2023.
