JEE Main 2022 topper Navya cracked the exam despite getting full marks in the first attempt, its good practice

A native of Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, Navya Hisaria scored full marks in the Combined Engineering Examination (JEE) Main 2022, He not only got 100 percentile marks but also got 300 marks out of 300. A perfect score is not stopping Navya from taking the exam again. The topper intends to appear for the second session of JEE Main 2022 to practice.

Giving the high-pressure exam, said that the topper will help him practice his time management skills. According to the rules, the best score out of the two attempts will count towards the final result, even if he scores less in the second term. Thus Navya has nothing to lose.

“These JEE Main attempts teach me how to complete the paper within the given time limit and manage time well. It is like an exercise (JEE Advanced) to be fully aware of how much they are preparing by attempting the exam,” said the topper. He is now preparing for JEE Advanced.

Soon after completing his class 10 board exam, in 2020, he started preparing for JEE Main. The 17-year-old now has to crack the IIT entrance-JEE Advanced 2022 to grab a seat at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay for his prestigious computer science course.

A student of Allen Career Institute, Kota, Navya said that she completely depends on class notes and homework given every day. “I didn’t mention any extra books, but I was regular in my coaching classes and used to complete homework on each day’s class basis,” he said.

When asked how he managed his class 12 board preparation with JEE Main, he said, “Since the syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and JEE Main for class 12 board is based on the common syllabus, So whatever preparation I did for engineering admission was covered automatically for class 12 board exams too,” he added. For English, it was provided by his school amid the pandemic. There were online classes and notes, which helped him in his preparation.

Navya said that she decided to become an engineer just two-three months before her class 10 exams. “By that time, I had made up my mind to study engineering and follow it,” he says.

While his father is a businessman, his mother is a social worker. He studied 10th and 12th from Apala School of Education affiliated to CBSE in Hanumangarh. He got 97.40 per cent marks for 10th class while his 12th results are yet to come. CBSE results are likely to be declared by July end.
