JEE Main 2022 Revised Dates Clash With MHT CET, BITSAT, SRMJEE, New Dates Likely For State Admissions

After being replaced three times, JEE Main 2022 The dates are still clashing with other exams. Now the engineering entrance exam will be conducted from June 20 to 29 for the first session and July 21 to 30 for the second attempt. Both the sessions are clashing with the state and private college engineering entrance exams.

Maharashtra Entrance Exam MHT CET 2022 scheduled to be held from 11th to 23rd June classes with first attempt and SRMJEE to be conducted from 25th to 26th June which are also classes with session 1 dates. BITSAT – The entrance exam of BITS institutes will also be conducted in two sessions and the dates of both the attempts will overlap with JEE Mains. BITSAT session 1 is scheduled to be held from June 20 to 26 and the second from July 22 to 26.

The JEE Main dates have been changed thrice after it was announced due to protests by a large section of students. JEE Main 2022 was earlier To be held from 16 to 20 AprilHowever, CBSE students had claimed that their entrance exam was being split between the board’s Term 1 and Term 2 attempts. Then the dates were changed and JEE was scheduled to be held from April 21 to May 4, however, the dates again clashed with the state board exams. Also, it left a gap of only a few days between session 1 and session 2 of JEE, which claims that students lost the purpose of the two attempts as there was no time to prepare and improve performance.

Now, with JEE Main dates clashing with other entrance exams, this time it is unlikely that NTA will revise JEE Main dates again. In contrast, state level and private college entrance examinations are changing their schedule as it will impact fewer students. A statement regarding this is expected soon.

Not only this but the dates of JEE Advanced 2022 are also expected to change soon. IIT admission was scheduled to be held on 3rd July, however, now with JEE Main session 2 ending on 30th July, JEE Advanced is expected to be held in August. Only those who make the top 2.5 lakh ranks of JEE Mains are eligible for JEE Advanced. Thus both the conduction of JEE Main attempts and the declaration of the final result is a prerequisite for JEE Advanced.
