JEE Advanced 2024 : All students are required to bring their JEE Advanced 2024 admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination hall

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) will administer the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 on tomorrow, May 26. The exam will be conducted in two shifts – morning and afternoon. The entrance test will consist of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Furthermore, the duration of both the exam papers will be three hours. Paper 1 is scheduled from 9 am to 12 noon and Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

All students are required to bring their JEE Advanced 2024 admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination hall. Candidates can download their hall tickets from the official website at jeeadv.ac.in, if they haven’t yet.

The JEE Advanced 2024 question paper has been divided into three sections: Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Candidates should keep in mind that some of the questions will have negative markings. The computer-based exam is being conducted for those seeking admission to engineering, architecture, and other programmes in IITs.

–– Learn about the most important subjects and ensure you have thoroughly prepared the chapters that were heavily weighted and frequently questioned in past years’ exams.

–– To effectively answer a wide range of questions, develop a deep understanding of concepts’ underlying principles, logic and applications.

–– Create a strategy for managing time throughout the exam. Prioritise easy questions to ensure that you get the most marks in the time allocated while still having time for review.

–– Before the exam, make sure you obtain enough sleep, remain hydrated and eat a balanced meal.

–– Maintain an optimistic attitude and believe in your abilities to succeed.

IIT JEE Advanced 2024: Guidelines To Follow

–– Students must arrive at the examination centres early and complete the criteria outlined in their admit card. The exam centres will be open from 7 AM.

–– Candidates must bring a printed copy of their downloaded admit card as well as their valid original photo ID. They need to have any of the following documents: an Aadhaar card, school/college/institute ID, driver’s licence, PAN card, voter ID, passport and notarised certificate with photograph are required for the exam.

–– At the examination centre, invigilators and IIT representatives will verify the candidate’s identity. If the candidate’s identification is in doubt, he or she may be denied permission to appear for the exam.

–– Before entering the examination centre, all applicants will be subjected to a thorough and mandatory search. The JEE Advanced 2024 would offer relevant and detailed directions to examination centre workers and other officials, including frisking female candidates.

–– Only pens, pencils, drinking water in a transparent bottle, the downloaded admit card and an original photo identity card are permitted inside the examination hall.
