JAY B of K-pop band GOT7 expresses desire to perform in India

South Korean artist and former K-pop idol group GOT7 leader, Jay B, launched his debut solo album, SOMO: FUME, last month. The 27-year-old singer-songwriter, previously associated with JYP Entertainment Company, joined the H1ghr Music hip hop and R&B record label founded by Korean American musicians Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone.

SOMO: FUME consists of six tracks where JayB impresses his fans with his melodious voice and catchy R&B beats. The artist also collaborated with artists such as Jay Park, Whee In, JUNNY, G1NGER, and SOKODOMO for some of the tracks on the album. Jay B told Portal that he first approached Jay Park, JUNNY and G1NGER to work on his album. “I asked them first. I asked if they could feature and thankfully they all said ‘yes.’ They’re all actors I listen to a lot, and luckily, they all said yes, so that’s cool Stayed,” said JB.

The artist also expressed his desire to travel to India and learn its culture by traveling, tasting the food and visiting different places. Jay B told the media portal that it is possible that he will perform in the country as soon as the pandemic is over.
