Jasmin Bhasin on Sonali Phogat’s untimely death: I can’t believe this… it’s way too early for her to just depart like this – Times of India

Bigg Boss 14 contestant and actor Sonali Phogat passed away on Monday night in Goa after she suffered a heart attack. Her Bigg Boss colleague Jasmin Bhasin remembers her as a very strong and cheerful person.

Jasmin, who was in a state of shock when we reached out to her, said, “This is very sad. She was a very strong, sweet and cheerful person. She used to always shower her blessings on me. This was not the time for her to leave. It was way too early for her to just depart like this.”

Jasmin added how she is concerned for her daughter. She said, “She was a single parent and her daughter Yashodhara is so young. How will she manage? I am not in a position to say much because it is very difficult to accept that she is not with us anymore. I used to regularly be in touch with her. I will need some time to come to terms with what has happened.”

Sonali, who was a politician too, had contested in the Haryana Assembly polls in 2019. She was quite active on social media. Incidentally, she had posted a new picture less than 24 hours ago. In the pic, she is seen sporting a bright pink safa on her head. She debuted as a TV anchor in 2006 before joining the BJP two years later. She made her acting debut in 2016 with the TV show ‘Amma: Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma’. She was also a part of the web series, ‘The Story Of Badmashgarh’ in 2019.
