January 22: All School, Colleges To Remain Closed In Uttar Pradesh

On January 22, all schools, colleges, and educational institutions in Uttar Pradesh will remain closed. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has declared a holiday for all educational institutions across the state in view of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple. Additionally, the Chief Minister has also directed the closure of all liquor shops in the state on the same day

Earlier on Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Ayodhya. He performed darshan and puja at Hanuman Garhi and Ram Lala, expressing his wishes for the welfare of the people. The Chief Minister prayed for the well-being of the residents here. Prior to this, on December 29, the Chief Minister had performed puja and archana here. In the new year, during the journey to Ramnagari, Yogi Adityanath assessed the progress of development-related projects and schemes. The Chief Minister also reviewed the work related to the Ram Temple

The preparation for the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya is almost complete. The consecration of Ram Lalla is scheduled to take place on January 22 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

More than 7,000 people are included in the guest list for the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla. This list includes cricket icons Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, along with industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani. On Thursday, sculptures of elephants, lions, Lord Hanuman, and ‘Garuda’ were installed at the main entrance of the Ram temple. The Secretary-General of the temple trust, Champat Rai, had previously mentioned that the temple’s entry and exit would be from the east and south directions, respectively.
