Jammu: Single dose of COVID-19 vaccine mandatory for entry into malls, offices

Jammu and Kashmir: A single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is mandatory for entry into shopping malls, restaurants, public transport, government offices and public places. The order of the Jammu and Kashmir administration came into effect from yesterday. On September 20, the Deputy Commissioner of Jammu appealed to every eligible citizen to get the corona virus vaccine. He had told that the vaccination centers would be open six days a week except Wednesday.

One dose of Kovid-19 vaccine mandatory

“One dose of COVID-19 vaccine will be mandatory for government offices, shopping malls, public transport and other public places in Jammu from October 2,” ANI tweeted, quoting Jammu’s Deputy Commissioner.

The administration in the Union Territory has also relaxed the restrictions imposed due to Corona. Shops and other institutions in Jammu have been allowed to remain open till 10 pm, while wedding ceremonies are restricted to 50 people.

Earlier, schools have been allowed to reopen for class 12th and 10th with certain conditions and rules. Class 12 schools have been opened with 50% capacity. Class 10th students can attend classes offline but schools will have to follow proper guidelines related to COVID-19. School students and staff have been ordered to be vaccinated against the coronavirus. Higher educational institutions have also been allowed to start in offline mode.
