3.8 magnitude earthquake hits Assam
An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale was recorded in Sonitpur in Assam on Sunday. According to the National Center of Seismology (NCS), the earthquake was recorded with its epicenter at 2.40 pm. The depth of the earthquake was 5 km.
Earlier on Wednesday, an earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale struck Tezpur in Assam.
There is no news of any kind of damage so far.
