Jammu and Kashmir: A woman was killed and four NEET candidates were injured when their car skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Satwas area of ​​Doda district. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Abdul Qayoom said on Tuesday that the three students, along with two women, were going to Doda after appearing for the NEET exam in Jammu.

All the injured were shifted to GMC Hospital in Doda. There the doctors declared Payal Devi dead.

The three students have been identified as Sandeep Singh, Arundeep Rakwal and Priyanshi Devi. Santosha Devi, another woman accompanying the girl students, was also admitted for treatment.

Doda Deputy Commissioner Special Pal Mahajan said the condition of two of the four injured is critical and a request has been sent to airlift them to GMC Jammu. Meanwhile, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said on Twitter that he spoke to Mahajan about the accident and arrangements were being made to airlift two critical patients to Jammu.
