Jammu and Kashmir: An unidentified woman was shot dead by security forces on Monday after she crossed the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Officials said the woman was believed to be an infiltrator from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
He was challenged by soldiers for crossing the Line of Control in Kamalkote area and coming close to the border fence. However, he did not pay heed, the officials further added.
After this, the jawans opened fire on the woman, due to which she died. According to officials, the matter is being investigated.
