As per sources, the man has been identified as 35-year-old Raja Shah, son of Shankar Shah, a resident of Bihar

A non-local civilian was shot dead by militants in south Kashmir’s Anantnag on Wednesday. The man was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

As per police, the man has been identified as 35-year-old Raja Shah, son of Shankar Shah, a resident of Bihar.

Shah sustained two bullet injuries on the neck and abdomen.

According to police, the firing happened in the Jablipora Bijbehera area of Anantnag.

Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off to apprehend the attackers.
