Reasi bus accident: A total of 23 people were injured when a bus carrying Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims met with an accident in Muri area of ​​Katra in Reasi district on Sunday, officials said. Officials had earlier said that one person had also died.

Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, Mukesh Singh said, “According to the statement of the driver, the accident occurred after he lost control of the vehicle due to a sharp turn.”

The injured people were immediately taken to the nearest hospital.

Earlier on May 10, a woman was killed and four others were injured in a car accident in Doda, officials said.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr RK Bharti said, “The condition of one of the injured is critical and he has been taken to Jammu. The rest are undergoing treatment at a hospital.”
