Tel Aviv: Minister of Foreign Affairs (EAM) S Jaishankar on Tuesday termed his first meeting with US foreign ministers, United Arab Emirates, and described Israel as ‘fruitful’ and said the ministers discussed economic development and working together on global issues.
“A fruitful first meeting with the Israeli APM and FM yair lapido, United Arab Emirates overseas Minister Abdullah bin Zayed and Secretary to the US Secretary of State Antony Blink this evening,” the External Affairs Minister said in a tweet.
“Discussed working together on economic development and global issues, agreed on early follow-up,” he tweeted.
Jaishankar’s remarks came after the minister along with his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid attended a virtual meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed.
During the meeting, the ministers discussed a range of issues, including climate change, energy cooperation, maritime security, and expanding economic and political cooperation in related fields. You. s. state department Spokesman Ned Price informed during the press conference.
