If there is no hands, then if there is zeal and passion in the heart to do something, then the work of hands can be done with feet also. This is to say of Punjab’s Divyang cyclist Jagwinder, who cast his vote by signing with his feet in Shutrana, Patiala today. For this he was also honored with a letter of appreciation.

Who is Divyang Jagwinder Singh

Cyclist Jagwinder Singh hails from Patadan in Patiala district of Punjab. He is handicapped with both hands, yet he does cycling. He has won many medals at National and State level.

Jagwinder Singh's life was full of challenges due to being disabled with both hands since childhood.  However, he never made his disability his weakness.

At the age of six, he learned to draw by watching his father.  He always took up cycling to become an international player.

He completed the 212 km race in just nine hours, while 48 normal cyclists completed it in 20 hours.  Apart from this, he has also participated in 300 km, 212 km and 208 km race.
