Jag Jag Jio Box Office Collection Day 4: Raj Mehta’s family entertainer starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil and Neetu Kapoor has been entertaining audiences ever since its release. The response from critics and fans is forcing others to visit the theaters to watch the film. In just three days, the comedy-drama has collected Rs 36.93 crore on Monday. The official Twitter handle of the production banner shared the first weekend box office figures of “Jugjug Jio” in a poster. The film earned Rs 9.28 crore on the first day and Rs 12.55 crore on the second day, and was followed by Rs 15.10 crore on the third day, taking the opening week total to Rs 36.93. This has given hope in the coming days. Even on its first Monday, the film remained stagnant as it fell just 45-50% and is expected to earn Rs 4.50-4.75 crores.

As per a report in BoxofficeIndia, “JugJug Jio is having a good Monday as it falls in the 45-50% range. Ideally, the drop should have been higher towards the 35-40% range, but it is almost over. To the right of 50% and this will actually be largely thanks to pockets that have dwindled due to their low opening Fridays and the drop in ticket prices at these locations. At the end of the day the film didn’t get held. Is well up but neither has it crashed.”

Further, the report noted, “Metropolitan cities have seen a drop in the threshold of 50%, with some centers even higher, while places like Gujarat/Saurashtra and CI have seen a decline in the range of 40%, but The business ratio here is low and the collections are also low. On Monday the collections will probably fall in the 4.50-4.75 crore net range, giving the film around 39.50 crore net plus.”

Talking about the film, it revolves around two couples of different generations who are on the verge of divorce. It is produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom 18 Studios.
