Jacquemus introduces men’s bralette aka brolette – Times of India

The Jacquemus show is making headlines for many reasons. Not only did its founder and creative director Simon Porte Jacquemus put on a stunning show, but supermodel Kendall Jenner also returned to the runway. This was Kendall’s first outing since the pandemic. While there were many fashion trends that came to the runway from the designer’s collection called La Montaigne, like biker shorts and crop tops for men, we also saw bralettes for men. Male model Jonas Gloor walked the ramp wearing an orange bralette with his Jacquemus floral co-ord set, and this could be a whole new trend after crop tops for men.

Designer Anvita Sharma says, “With more men pushing the boundaries of fashion and flashy clothing becoming the new normal, brolettes may very soon have their moment in fashion.” “Jacquemus is a trendsetter when it comes to new styles. The brand is a favorite among new and happening fashion influencers, who are fascinated by all the looks the designer has created and they revisit those looks on the Instagram reel and other platforms. where they can show their knack for fashion,” says stylist Vikram Seth.

Talking more about her collection in a collection note, the French fashion designer wrote, “I wanted to focus on the fabric, the silhouette, the colors, the fabric, the details and the energy of the models. I wanted the set to be minimal. And Sharp, recreating an abstract artistic mountain that illustrates the collection’s inspiration.”

The designer is known for doing his shows in the vast lavender fields in Provence. But this time he decided that only his clothes would be allowed to take to the main stage and become the subject of discussion.
