JAC Jharkhand Term 1 Board Exam 2022 from December 7, detailed datesheet by next week

NS Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) Jharkhand Board will conduct Matriculation or Class 10th Class 1 exam from 7th December, while Intermediate exam will start from 9th December. The council has already started the preparation for the exam and a detailed datasheet is expected to release officially by next week. on the website jac.nic.in.

Jharkhand Board Exam 2022 for class 10 and 12 will be conducted in a two-term pattern. For two-term exams, the syllabus is divided equally into two parts for each term. The first semester examination will be based only on the first part of the syllabus and the rest will be included in the second part of the examination to be held from March 10 to 25 next year.

A similar pattern has also been adopted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) To avoid complications in examination conduct and evaluation in case of possibility of another wave of COVID-19.

The window to fill the exam form is open for classes and the candidates who have appeared in the first exam can fill the form till November 20. JAC will also set up the exam center at the block level all over Jharkhand so that the candidates can be allotted nearest. center and they do not need to cover much distance for the examination.

The decision to conduct the exam in a two-term pattern was taken in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The board exams could not be conducted last year due to the increase in the number of cases in the second wave of the pandemic. Thereafter marks are given to the candidates on the basis of internal assessment and their performance in the previous class, i.e. class 9 in case of matriculation and class 11 in case of inter.

Apart from the five compulsory subjects, the matriculation examination will also be conducted for the sixth subject. Each subject for the first term will carry 50 marks. It consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 40 marks in OMR sheet while remaining 10 marks will be given by the school on the basis of internal assessment.
