J&K: 3 civilians dead, 7 injured in Rajouri terror attack; search operation underway, says Police

Three civilians were killed and seven others injured in a suspected terrorist attack in Dangri village of Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir, police said. It added that a search operation has been launched to nab the culprits. Police said the shooting took place in three houses, each about 50 meters apart.

Medical Superintendent Dr Mahmood said, “3 people were killed and 7 others injured in the firing incident in Dangri area of ​​Rajouri. The injured are being treated. Additional Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh said that the firing took place in 3 separate houses at a distance of about 50 meters from each other in Upper Dangri village of Rajouri. “A search operation has been launched in the area,” he said.

Singh said two armed men opened fire on civilians in Upper Dangri village, about eight kilometers from Rajouri town.
