It took 3 hours for Yami Gautam to get into her ‘Bhoot Police’ avatar.

New Delhi: Bollywood diva Yami Gautam has recently been seen in the horror-comedy ‘Bhoot Police’. The actress starred alongside Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez in the film. In the film, the ‘Vicky Donor’ actress gets possessed by a powerful spirit spirit and has to perform some stunts like bending her body and others to get into the character’s skin.

Yami Gautam did an excellent job playing the role in ‘Bhoot Police’. As they say, the job of an actor is not easy, Yami had to go through a lot while shooting for ‘Bhoot Police’ in the chilly weather of Dharamsala. She shared in her latest post that despite her neck injury, she pulled off the stunt and credited yoga for it.

Yami Gautam shared her look and some videos from the making of ‘Bhoot Police’ and wrote, “My love for horror films was one of the main reasons that got me excited to play the role in #BhootPolice where I would ‘capture’ It was not easy as it took me 3 hours to get into this look and 45 minutes to get out of it, every day, with barefoot shooting and cable work, on the chilly winter nights of Himachal… Regardless, I wanted to do everything myself, and my yoga practice helped me achieve it to a great extent. However, I wish I could take some professional training but the pandemic restrictions at that time made it impossible. Anything could do, I did! These are part of the challenges that come with having a profession I love so much! And I’ll do it over and over again!”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Yami Gautam has many films in her kitty. Recently she was seen in her upcoming film ‘OMG – Oh My God! 2’ with Pankaj Tripathi. She will also be seen in ‘Daasvi’, ‘A Thursday’ and ‘Lost’.
