Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad is ranked 51st and IIM Bangalore is ranked 52nd in the FT Global MBA Rankings 2023.

The Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad is the only Indian institute to feature in the top 50 of the Financial Times (FT) Global MBA Rankings 2023. The prestigious B-school is ranked 39th globally and 6th in Asia. The postgraduate courses offered by ISB have been declared among the best in India.

ISB has got the first position in the research category India and ranked 61st globally. “ISB’s consistent ranking as the top B-school in India in the FT Global MBA rankings testifies to its constant endeavor to offer its students a research-backed curriculum and state-of-the-art pedagogy imparted by the faculty, which is proud of its are pioneers in the fields,” said Deputy Dean-Academic Programs Ramabhadran Thirumalai.

Commenting further on the ranking, he said that it also indicates how well our alumni are doing in their careers after graduating from the school.

For this year’s rankings, the alumni of the Post-Graduate Program Class of 2019 were surveyed on several parameters. In the overall ranking, ISB performs well on factors such as No. 2 in Salary Percentage Growth, 12th in Alumni Network, 28th in Career Progression and 29th in Career Services.

Meanwhile, in the FT Global MBA Rankings 2023, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad is ranked 51 followed by IIM Bangalore at 52.

Other recognized Indian business schools in the country that are also in the top 100 list include IIM Calcutta at 76, IIM Indore at 89 and IIM Lucknow at 90.

Of the 100 B-schools ranked this year, 13 of the top 18 are in the United States, including Harvard, Stanford, and Berkeley. Two other top-tier schools are in France, namely INSEAD, ranked second, and HEC Paris. There is one school which is in third place – ISE, which is in Spain; one, SDA Bocconi is in Italy, and London Business School is in the United Kingdom.

According to the ranking record, Master of Business Administration (MBA) colleges in India have seen a higher percentage increase in alumni salaries, with the Indian School of Business reporting a 205 per cent increase in salaries compared to 117 per cent and a 131 per cent increase in given.
